Please contact one of your World Wings International board members (or use the Contact Us link on the website) for a special code which you can use during registration. \nThe following letter from Ayla Zamangil\, CARE’s Director of Development\, Southeast US Region\, explains the purpose and agenda of the conference: \n“On behalf of CARE\, I am delighted to invite you to be our guest at the 16th annual CARE National Conference\, May 21st – 23rd\, in Washington\, D.C. Each year\, CARE advocates and supporters from around the country convene in Washington\, D.C. for three packed and purposeful days. We start with a two-day deep dive into CARE’s advocacy work\, the U.S. policies that affect women and girls around the world\, and the best tools for advocating with your local representatives. On day three\, we move from learning to action and meet with Members of Congress to discuss the impact that policies here at home have on the people we work alongside around the world. It is an incredible three-day experience and I hope you will consider joining us– your voice is needed!  \nAt last year’s CARE National Conference\, we focused our advocacy efforts on protecting the foreign assistance budget. DESCRIPTION:Please contribute or join us for our annual “Teal and Pink Walk\,” benefiting Cedars-Sinai Samuel Ochin Women’s Cancer Research Center.  The walk starts at 9 AM and winds along the spectacular cliffs of Rancho Palos Verdes Peninsula. Coffee and rolls are served before and there is a lunch set up for the walkers at the conclusion of the event.  This is the Los Angeles Chapter’s major fundraiser of the year\, with monies raised through entry fees for the walk\, direct donations\, and contributions from friends\, family\, and community.
