SUMMARY:Seattle November Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Please join us in November for what promises to be a very interesting program.  We have scheduled an intriguing speaker\, Mr. Joshua Canady\, counselor and educator\, who will be talking about the benefits of using mindfulness in aging gracefully\, how we keep our bodies and minds healthy\, the effects of stress\, and how by using simple mindfulness techniques\, we can preserve our memory\, improve our pain levels\, foster good sleep\, and keep an overall emotional well being.  \nThe lunch is $17.00 which includes bottled water\, coffee and tea.  Wine will be available for $3/glass. \nThe box lunch choices are as follows:\n1. Lean Pastrami Sandwich on Light Rye- includes Tim’s Chips and a Chocolate Chip Cookie\n2. Cowboy Cobb Salad – Chopped romaine with bacon\, avocado\, seasoned chicken\, roasted corn and pinto beans. Choice of dressings will be available to you at the meeting. Roll/butter and chocolate chip cookie included\n3. Veggie Wrap – Flour tortilla filled with lettuce\, carrots\, cucumbers\, tomatoes\, avocado\, red onion–lightly dressed with vinaigrette and hummus. Tim’s Chips and chocolate chip cookie included\n4. Turkey Breast Sandwich\, brined and roasted in-house\, served with Swiss cheese on sourdough bread. DESCRIPTION:Program will be a Gator Tailgate party. Bring your favorite tailgate food and any guests who enjoy football. The kick-off time hasn’t been announced yet but we will watch whatever is on. Since the game is at South Carolina\, there won’t be very much traffic. I would  advise driving up from the south on 441 which turns into 13th Street. Once you past UF\,  you will be in the NW section. Turn left on  NW 16th Avenue and drive West to NW 22 Street. Turn right (North) into Forest Ridge and continue on 22 Street\, past the roundabout  and on until you deadend on 24th Avenue. Turn right and we are the 2nd house on the right. Gator colors are orange and blue.
