EXCURSIONS
Three tours are being offered to World Wings members and guests during your visit to Scottsdale: Grand Canyon, the Phoenix/Scottsdale & Heard Museum, and Sedona. Tour cost, departure/arrival times, itineraries, policies for carriage, and cancellation policies are set by the tour company (Across Arizona Tours) and reservations must be made with them by telephone. Please be sure that you have read and understand their policies prior to booking. (Non-US members: If you cannot dial the tour operator, Ingrid can manage this for you.) Note that reservations for these three tours must be made by phone only and you must identify yourself as a World Wings participant.

PRE- & POST- CONVENTION EXCURSIONS
GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK
Saturday, October 28:
If you have never experienced the breathtaking grandeur of the Grand Canyon, this is your opportunity. Carved by the Colorado River over millions of years, the canyon is over one mile deep, up to 18 miles wide, and is 277 miles long. A UNESCO World Heritage site, the canyon is one of the world’s most spectacular natural formations. Light and shadow play over myriad layers of exposed sediment and rock formations, making it a photographer’s dream.
PHOENIX/SCOTTSDALE, & THE HEARD MUSEUM
Tuesday, October 31:
The Phoenix metropolitan area, which includes Scottsdale, has has grown from fewer than a million in 1960 to nearly five million in 2020. Celebrated for its location in the Valley of the Sun and for its spectacular vistas, it is also home to many historic buildings. The tour includes a visit to the renowned Heard Museum.
SEDONA
Wednesday, November 1:

View the stunning red rock formations of Sedona and learn about the geology and history of the region. Bring your camera and capture exquisite panoramas.
