Oakland Chapter Visit to Discovery Bay

Suzy will host our group in Discovery Bay on Thursday, 9/27/18. There will be a cruise. She is offering an overnight for the first five Oakland East Bay Chapter members sign ups. Suzy says that dawn is beautiful on the Delta. Send your check for $46 today, made out to World Wings Int’l, to Louise (contact details below) to reserve your spot on the Delta 9/27/18.

10:00 am Welcome with champagne and mimosas
11:30 am Potluck luncheon
1:15 pm Carpool to Boardwalk Grill for safety orientation
2 – 4 pm Cruise on the delta aboard a spacious 55 foot houseboat, the ROSEMARIE, a Discovery Bay charter boat. No-host bar available. After the cruise visit the shops on the Boardwalk.
4:45 pm Return to Suzy’s for farewells

Bring potluck lunch dish and bottle of wine to share, sunscreen, sun hat, bathing suit if you wish to dive in from Suzy’s dock. Space for 35 on the cruise including San Francisco and Marin chapter members, spouses and friends. Please send $46 per person for the cruise and our World Wings charity to Louise (see contact details below). Your check is your reservation. We need to reserve the boat so mark your calendars and send your checks by July 31, 2018, if you wish to attend this fun Delta outing.

Directions:
Take 680 North to Highway 242 toward Pittsburg/Stockton.
After Antioch bear left on Highway 4 to Stockton. Stay on Highway 4 going past Lone Tree, Sand Creek and Balfour lights. Watch for Discovery Bay traffic light and exit to the left on Marsh Creek. Go three miles and turn right going toward Byron. Stay in left lane and watch for Safeway. Continue to Newport Blvd. in Discovery Bay and turn left. After five streets, turn right on Beacon Place to #4152. Welcome! Bienvenue! Wellkomen!
