Seattle November Meeting

Please join us in November for what promises to be a very interesting program. We have scheduled an intriguing speaker, Mr. Joshua Canady, counselor and educator, who will be talking about the benefits of using mindfulness in aging gracefully, how we keep our bodies and minds healthy, the effects of stress, and how by using simple mindfulness techniques, we can preserve our memory, improve our pain levels, foster good sleep, and keep an overall emotional well being.

The lunch is $17.00 which includes bottled water, coffee and tea. Wine will be available for $3/glass.

The box lunch choices are as follows:
1. Lean Pastrami Sandwich on Light Rye- includes Tim’s Chips and a Chocolate Chip Cookie
2. Cowboy Cobb Salad – Chopped romaine with bacon, avocado, seasoned chicken, roasted corn and pinto beans. Choice of dressings will be available to you at the meeting. Roll/butter and chocolate chip cookie included
3. Veggie Wrap – Flour tortilla filled with lettuce, carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, avocado, red onion–lightly dressed with vinaigrette and hummus. Tim’s Chips and chocolate chip cookie included
4. Turkey Breast Sandwich, brined and roasted in-house, served with Swiss cheese on sourdough bread. Includes Tim’s Chips and chocolate chip cookie

The Wwaffle tickets will be sold at the luncheon: $2 each or 3/$5.

PLEASE SEND YOUR CHECK (with meal choice indicated) TO SHERRY CRAWFORD BY SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 4. IT SHOULD BE MADE OUT TO “WORLD WINGS INTERNATIONAL” FOR $17.00. (Late notice will incur an additional $3.00 fee.) Mail checks to:

(From time to time, we have members who request to attend the programmed event but who do not want to join us in the luncheon offering. Under this circumstance, the fee is $10, which helps with meeting expenses and adds to the charity funds, as does the regular meeting charge.)
