Welcome Back to London!

The European Chapters have joined together to create a truly memorable 55th WWI Convention in London. Many of you will have fond memories of layovers in this vibrant city and as well as visiting old haunts, we hope to introduce you to new places of interest. You will be staying at the Leonardo Royal Hotel London City, which is about 1/3 mile from the Tower of London and the Thames river, and about 1/2 mile from picturesque St Katharine‘s Dock with its yachts, restaurants and cafés. The nearest tube station is Tower Hill, and close by is Tower Pier where you can hop on the regular Thames Clipper boat service.

We can‘t wait to meet up for the welcome reception and dinner in the hotel on Friday evening! The annual meeting takes place on Saturday morning. Our gala dinner will take place Saturday evening at Lincoln’s Inn. This is a unique opportunity to dine in the oldest of one of London‘s four Inns of Court, dating back to 1422! There will be free time on Sunday before our River Cruise on the Dixie Queen, which departs early Sunday evening. Take in the London skyline with glasses of bubbly and a dinner buffet!
