Happy New Year and Greetings from our Lake Tahoe Chapter! We have begun our year on a beautiful note by having our first meeting of the year at the gorgeous home of our member June Wexler, which overlooks the majestic California Sierra Mountain range. Afterwards, we enjoyed a lovely dinner and good company, including our spouses, many of whom are also former Pan Am-ers.

We voted to continue with our support for our current philanthropic endeavor, the Nevada Military Support Alliance. The foundation supports Nevada’s men and women of our armed forces, veterans and their families, and recently expanded to not only support military families of fallen service members, but to assist those returning home from the battlefield with catastrophic injuries.

In 2019,we will also be concentrating on finding new members to join our FUN Chapter! While we enjoy meeting locally in Lake Tahoe, we also like to change things up a little as well, therefore our next meeting will be held in Reno, NV. We all wish our fellow WWI members health and happiness in the new year. Cheers !
